The library offers:

Children's Storytime?

A preschool storytime is held during the school year for children ages 3-5 on Thursdays at 10:30am and 1:00pm. Baby storytime for children from birth to 23 months old is held on Wednesdays  10:30-10:50. A lapsit program for children ages 24-36 months is held for 6-8 weeks in the fall & winter on Tuesdays at 10:30. Children should be pre-registered, and must be able to sit quietly for about 45 minutes.

We also offer a Summer Reading Program which is held in June and July for children grades K-5. Through special programs, fun sheets and prizes, we hope to encourage children to continue reading throughout the summer. There is no charge for this program, but you need to register. This can be done any time during the Summer Reading Program.

Lower Level Gallery

The Kleinpell Gallery in the library's lower level hosts approximately eight different exhibits each year on a variety of subjects, including individual or group art shows, and a wide range of historical and other topics of general relevance to the community. Display space also allows for displays of collections and artifacts of interest to the public.

There is no admission fee for the gallery, which is generally open during regular library hours beginning at 10am.

If you would like more information, or to discuss a possible exhibit, please contact Event Coordinator Katie Chaffee at 425-0905 ext. 123.

Closed on the Following Holidays

The only exceptions are when a holiday such as Christmas falls on a Saturday or Sunday. The library will then be closed on the preceding Friday or the following Monday.
