Independent Reading Program
Begins on Monday, June 14 and is individualized and continuous,
and is for all children ages 2 and up.
- On June 14, children can pick up their reading folder, put their
traveling shape on the bulletin board, and begin to keep track of
the time they spend reading or being read to.
- When the child returns to the library with their reading folder,
the traveling shape on the bulletin board can be moved, and
incentives will be earned.
- Super readers (those who complete more that 2 times around the
bulletin board) will have the opportunity to earn more incentives.
