Teen Book Club
The Teen Book Club has been in existence for many years. The group is for kids in grades 6-12 and meets year-round every four weeks on a Tuesday at 4 pm.
In this one hour session, the book chosen for that month is discussed and then everyone attending is given the opportunity to nominate a book by telling a little bit about it. Everyone in the group votes for one title, and the book receiving the most number of votes is chosen. The library orders enough copies for the group are ordered to be passed out at the next session for the following month. Everyone who wants to attend the discussion and wants a copy of the book must fill out a form agreeing to read the book, and attend the discussion session.
