The St. Croix River Valley is full of nature-based adventures, from paddling and fishing the Kinni, to watching bison run off the truck into the prairie at Belwin Conservancy, or even snowshoeing to frozen waterfalls along the St. Croix River. Join us On Thursday, November 7 at 6:30 p.m. when Angie Hong (aka. Minnesota Nature Awesomeness) will be in person in the library lower level or virtual on the library Facebook and YouTube to share some of her favorite places to enjoy nature in the St. Croix River Watershed. Angie will talk about recent conservation victories, including bringing trout back to Trout Brook and Brown’s Creek, “de-listing” polluted lakes, and transforming turf to native habitat at local schools.
