All videos recordings may be checked out for one week. Late fines will be charged at the rate of $1.00 per day. The maximum fine for videos is $5.00 per DVD.

The borrower acknowledges that all video recordings will be in good working order and condition at the time they are borrowed, and the borrower agrees to pay an amount equal to either the full cash value, reasonable cost of repair, or daily rate (see above) in the event of any items that are not returned, are damaged, or are returned late.

The borrower hereby holds the River Falls Public Library harmless for any damage or loss of property, of whatever kind or nature, arising out of the use of the borrowed DVDs.

  • The entire audience is involved in the teaching activity.
  • The entire audience is in the same room or same general area.
  • The teaching activities are conducted by a non-profit education institution.
  • The performance takes place in a classroom or similar place devoted to instruction.
  • The person responsible for the performance has no reason to believe that the video recording was unlawfully made.
