The River Falls Public Library is looking for volunteers with garment mending skills to help assist library staff at a booth during EarthFest26 on Saturday, April 25 from Noon – 4:00 p.m.

The mending booth will be located on the main level near the Clothing Give Away and Trashion Show Event. The public will be invited to bring clothing they would like to mend or possibly find something at the Give Away that they would like to alter. Volunteers at the booth will be available to offer a consultation about the project, provide people with mending supplies and help get them started on a project. Volunteers can display examples of work they have done. We would like this to be a collaborative experience that crosses skills, interests and generations. The expectation is not for volunteers to complete all mending projects for the public, but to provide advice and get them started. *The River Falls Public Library will supply mending materials.*

A fun volunteer training session will take place on Sunday, February 1 from Noon – 2:00 p.m.
Due to construction at the Library, location is Glen Park Pavilion.
Please click HERE to register for both dates if you are able! During the training session we will discuss skills and determine how everyone will work together. A variety of skills are appreciated but nobody needs to be an expert.
