As a world, we are faced with apocalyptic futures that seem pre-determined. At the same time, climate challenged realities are being normalized in the news as well as the lived reality of our communities. How do we create climate hopeful futures when everything feels awful? How do we need to shift our education and our imaginations to create futures that are hopeful for our young people and ourselves? And how do we do this from a place of scientific truth about the reality of our situation. This presentation will feature Lil Milagro Henriquez, Founder and Executive Director of the Mycelium Youth Network, as she shares how we can build climate-resilient, hopeful futures grounded in scientific truth.

Watching from home is available through the River Falls Public Library Facebook and YouTube pages.
