Youth Book Groups

Youth book groups are on Tuesday and have books for readers from for grades 2-12. Group size is limited. Everyone in the groups gets to keep a book if they participate in the book group each month. Stop by the children’s desk to sign up and find out the monthly book titles.

January – May, 2023

​Ready Readers – Grades 2-3
​Jan 10, Feb 7, Mar 7, Apr 4, May 2 at 4:00pm
​Meet new kids, discuss books, work on fun activities and have snacks! This group reads chapter books and shorter novels.

​Middle Grade Readers – Grades 4-6
Jan 17, Feb 14, Mar 21, Apr 11, May 9 at 4:00pm or 6:00pm
​Gather to discuss books, for fun activities and snacks! This group reads middle grade books.

Teen Readers – Grades 7-9
​Jan 24, Feb 21, Mar 28, Apr 18, May 16 at 4:00pm
​Discuss books, engage in fun activities and of course, snacks! This group reads young adult novels.

Young Adult Readers – Grades 10-12
​Jan 3, Jan 31, Feb 28, Apr 25, May 23 at 4:00pm
​Discuss books, take part in book-related activities and there are snacks! This group reads young adult novels that may include some mature content.
